This weekend we hosted Ryker's 3rd Birthday party in our North Austin home. He is obsessed with everything that is Octonauts (which is a fun cartoon that explores the ocean and it's wild life). We had goldfish cupcakes, breakfast kabobs, punch, bacon, fruit, and mini egg quiches. I think Ryker really loved having all his grandparents (and other family and friends) here to celebrate his big milestone.
As far as decorations we had a big pink octopus and five jelly fishes hanging around. The Octonauts HQ was fixed in the middle of our table, perfect place to survey all the goodies! My sister helped me make some cute garland with the party's colors. It was an easy DIY party that was colorful and fun, just like Ryker!
We kept the party really small this year, just close friends and family, which still turned out to be 20+ people. Everyone that attended loves my son, and those feeling were surrounding our boy on his big day.
Cup Cakes with Friends!
Ryker, I hope that throughout this next year you leap over some of the lingering health issues you've faced. I hope that you love being the big boy at home while Fox is at school. I hope that you and your sister don't fight, but love each other. I hope that you don't destroy anything thing, and that your 3rd year will be peaceful. Those are big hopes for a little 3 year old, but I know you can do it baby boy! Don't ever forget mommy and daddy love you!!
