You're two Bellamy!

Happy Birthday baby girl. To celebrate your 2nd birthday here is a little walk down memory lane.

A few hours before you were born, we were so excited to meet you!

A few hours before you were born, we were so excited to meet you!

You were so ready to be here. My labor and delivery went very quickly and mostly painlessly. You were instantly wide awake and ready to take in all your new surroundings. Very quickly after you were bundled up and given to me, you started smacking those little lips, ready for our first nursing session. You were a champion nurser! We enjoyed that special bonding time for about 14 months. I loved my quiet time with you as a baby during all those feedings, and as you grew it became the only time that you would snuggle down and let me hold you. I took full advantage of our nursing career, and when it was over I was only a little sad. I took joy in you finding your independence... more on that independence later.

Two reds and a Blonde little Bells!

Two reds and a Blonde little Bells!

A few pictures from the hospital. Your hair was quite the topic of discussion on Facebook and instagram. EVERYONE wanted to know if you had red hair, some people even went as far to express 'disappointment' that you were not a red head (like your brothers). I didn't care for one moment what color your hair was, I was just so glad to finally meet you! I love your blonde hair (btw), its suits you perfectly my princess!

Your first big celebration was your blessing day! Your daddy along with two of your grandpa's, your uncle Wade, and two of our family's good friends stood in a circle and gave you a name and a blessing. It was very special and made my day! You were blessed with the ability to be a support to your family, and the ability to be faithful to the commandments of Jesus Christ. You were blessed with wisdom, and the ability to learn from other's experiences. If you live faithfully you were blessed with the ability to be a great example to others. You will be looked to as a pillar of support. You were blessed with the gift and talent of communication, so far- you use it well (haha!). In your blessing it said you would be 'very learned' that you would be care for spiritually, and finally that you will be happy. It was a beautiful blessing for our beautiful little girl!

Your first year of life was so fun! All the bows, dresses, and girlie moments. From the very start even your coos and baby-talk were girlie and different from your brothers.

Your first Birthday party was fun and full of family and friends! You also loved all the cookies, more than the cake, which doesn't surprise me (who doesn't love a good sugar cookie?). We had some beautiful portrait sessions with Amy Odom  over the first year of your life- Here are my favorite edits from those sessions!

Your second year of life was a very emotional time for a tiny princess. You were a busy little body, and liked to be in control, especially when the situation involved your brothers. Below is just a big picture dump of year two!

From fits to laughter, boo boos to photoshoots, and sass to smiles- you've been a HUGE blessing these last two years. You love to play with your brothers, jump on the trampoline, and play in the water hose. Your favorite movie is Frozen with Beauty and the Beast coming in as a close second. You LOVE pizza, and have a sweet tooth that rivals my own. I love our 'girl time' and can't wait to share in more firsts (like a first mani/pedi day), for now you LOVE to shop and show me all the 'cute' outfits.
You've got some big milestones coming up this next year, to include a new baby sister and your brothers being gone most of the week at school. Mostly Bellamy, we love you, and I'm so grateful you're part of our family!
